Once an Employer Direct Billing relationship has been established, the employer will receive a monthly invoice.

This then allows the employer to contribute what they desire to the employee and payroll deduct the remainder.

Establishing an ICHRA allows a company the ability to be entirely flexible in its employee options.

If some of your employees do not fit the Healthcare cooperative model then this would allow you the ability to offer them a set amount of funds towards another solutions. This is a feature that can be turned "on" at anytime once an Employer account is established.

Above and Beyond Features Of the Health Care Cooperative versus the most healthshares


  • Pregnancy eligible with 1 Deductible (as long as due date is 5 months off)
  • Up to $3,000 in fertility benefits (testing and hormone treatment)
  • An annual out-of-pocket maximum cap of $4,000 for individuals and $8,000 for families for eligible member expenses outside of a health incident
    • Provides protection currently against multiple middle-ground expenses
  • No cap on member-related expenses for existing conditions in after 36 months of membership
    • Compares to maximum allowable for pre-existing conditions after phase in with healthshares
  • Depending on employee group size there is a per person for pre-existing conditions upon enrollment
  • $6,000 member benefit for mental health services - The members deductible would apply first. After that an additional $6K is available which then totals to $9K annually per person in membership
  • A separate $6,000 member benefit for substance abuse treatment
  • New advocacy support and access to top specialist for your unique health circumstance
