Sedera offers Preferred and Standard Pricing

What is an IUA? What is a "Need"?

Sedera shares eligible expenses above the chosen IUA and shares on the entire Need.

What is an IUA?

Initial Unshareable Amount (IUA) is the financial amount (in dollars) that a member chooses to carry on their own prior to medical cost sharing for the "Need".

Sedera share's in expenses based on a "Need"

A "Need" is the Comprehensive TOTAL of expenses surrounding a illness or accident.

Furthermore, "The Need" stays open, and all related expenses will be group shared, until 1the issue has resolved itself or 12 months has past without further expenses.

Additionally, Sedera protects the members from having too many "needs" within a given year and, Sedera's Medical cost sharing will begin at dollar one after 3 IUA's have been met for an individual or, 5 for a couple or family.

Sedera Households with one or more tobacco users contribute an additional $75.00 per month. If the member who is a tobacco user is over the age of 50, then Medical Needs for that Member are limited to $25,000 for each of the following four disease categories: Cancer, Heart conditions, COPD and Stroke.

Why would I join with Standard Pricing?

If you do not wish to join a local Direct Primary Care practice you would be well served to join MedLion's Virtual DPC  if it is currently offered in your state.

If not - you will need to join Sedera at the Standard Pricing.
